The Beatles: Rock Band PS3 Wireless Rickenbacker 325 Guitar Controller
I purchased the Beatles Rock Band for a Christmas gift, and because my son-in-law is a big John Lennon fan, I ordered this guitar controller, as well. Unfortunately the “dongle” (never heard that word in my life until Christmas Day) is apparently defective, and I can’t get a replacement as Amazon isn’t carrying this product any longer.
However, the guitar looks fantastic, and the game – played with the other controllers – is tons of fun.
Playstation 3 The Beatles: Rock Band Special Value Edition
The Beatles Rock Band was affordably priced, packaged well and arrived promptly. We are very pleased with the sellers of this product.
The Beatles: Rock Band X360 Wireless Gretsch Duo-Jet Guitar Controller
Compared to the original Rock Band guitar, this thing is beautiful and slick. If you shake it, there’s a little soft rattle but I think that’s the tilt sensor for overdrive. It looks amazing, is silent, and works wonders. Love it to death. Five stars.
The Beatles: Rock Band Wii Wireless Gretsch Duo-Jet Guitar Controller
WONDERFUL!!! If you are a Beatles Fan, this is the most fantastic game EVER!!

for all you crooks trying to sell this over the retail price, they seem to have full stock of them at the best buy in Lacrosse Wisconsin
Wii Band Hero featuring Taylor Swift – Super Bundle
I bought this for my husband and kids who love any music aspect of the Wii. They are having a ton of fun with it. It’s on the expensive side, but I’m glad I got it for them.
PS3 Rock Band Wireless Fender Precision Bass – Hot Rod Red
I picked up this base for a mix of realism and a new challenge.
If you’re an expert bassist on Rock Band already, be prepared for a learning curve.
I find it more enjoyable, just don’t expect it to directly translate from your previous expertise.
Also, the signal/receiver requires a direct line-to-sight. Having the drums setup in between interferes with the signal, causing much frustration and lost fans. LOS reception seems strong for about 20 ft without infrared interference.
Xbox 360 Rock Band Wireless Fender Precision Bass Replica – White
I bought the red bass replica and started having communications problems between the receiver and guitar within the first hour of play. I was well within 8 feet of the receiver at all times and I kept problems where the whammy bar options page would pop up in the middle of play (even though there is no switch on the guitar, let alone whammy bar) followed by a loss of communication, or just a flat out loss of communication. If you see that type of behavior, just contact the MadCatz support. I recommend just calling them, they’re more responsive when called.
Working with the MadCatz support team is the one redeeming part of this experience. They are very professional and they paid for the return shipping. They sent me a new unit within a work week of return.
I’ve tried to play the new guitar as much as possible since I received it. I did have one more instance of loss of communication in about 4 hours of play (which is better than the previous unit, which would fail within 10 minutes of play 100% of the time). But, otherwise, it’s been working well. I like the double strum bar and I’m getting used to “plucking” rather than strumming. I’ll continue using it to see if I get more communication errors, in which case I’ll probably contact the manufacturer again.
Overall, yes, I like the guitar, but would I recommend it to others? Probably not. Not unless you’re comfortable with calling tech support.
Xbox 360 Official Rock Band Wireless Fender Wooden Stratocaster Replica – Candy Apple Red Metallic Finish
This is simply a fantastic guitar controller. It’s a full sized wooden body guitar so it is big and heavy, but the fret buttons are great and tilt mechanism is flawless. Highly recommended for the serious RockBand player.
BIG NOTE: the strum-bar on this guitar is super-clicky, so if you love the RB2 and hate GH guitars, think twice. I hate the click but still love the guitar and am trying to figure out a way to mod the strumbar.

PS3 Rock Band Wireless Fender Precision Bass – Seafoam Green
This guitar has an awesome feel, great action and really makes playing the Bass a lot more fun with the dual-strum capability.
Of course, this is if the unit is actually working.
All 3 I have had have the same problem – keeps looking connection (seems to turn itself off at random) if you move at all. Makes playing rather cumbersome.
I appreciate Amazon and their return policy, but I think that the folks who made the Guitar really messed up on their product QA.
Maybe as they fix their problems it will be worth it.
Official Rock Band Wireless Fender Precision Bass for Playstation 3 – White
I was scared off by the early reviews here, but I’ve been using this Wireless Fender Precision Bass for over a month now with my original 60GB PS3 and I have had absolutely NO PROBLEMS thus far! Connection is strong at every distance with no interruptions, the split strum and the thumb rest feel great (although my hands get tired!), the fret buttons have a great feel to it, the strap is a definite upgrade from the ones packaged with the Special Edition bundles… I’m really, REALLY happy with it.
What I think might have happened was that the first wave of these guitars were less than stellar. I bought mine after it went out of stock the first time, so I think this latest run of Wireless Precision Basses are better.
So if you love Rock Band as much as I do, you should DEFINITELY look into this guitar. It basically reinvented the game for me!
PS3 Band Hero featuring Taylor Swift – Super Bundle
Overall this is a great buy. I think this game bundle is great for the parties or small gatherings.

Xbox 360 Band Hero featuring Taylor Swift – Super Bundle
I got this $50 cheaper at Amazon.com than any other store I could find, even on sale.
It’s our first “Band” game..and is really fun for us parents to play with the kids. I bought Rock Band first..but after looking at the song list.. returned it. It was more for the the 22-28 age bracket, in my opinion. We have many Guitar Hero games but no drums, mic etc. It’s a way for all of us to play together.
It was delivered quickly and was at my front door. No lugging it home after packing it in the car by myself.
The only downside is, that I think you have to hit the drums kinda hard for them to register in the game. Not sure if it’s just this set of drums or all in Band Hero. But my 8 yr old has no trouble banging away (i would think 5 yr old might not be strong enough). Overall I was quite happy with my choice in games, and the service from Amazon.com

Wii Rock Band Bundle: Guitar, Drums & Microphone
I received a good deal on the set but the red drum does not work. The microphone and guitar are ok. I guess it is the old saying you get what you pay for.
PS2 Band Hero Super Bundle
I ordered this game and accessories mainly for the drums and mic. I already own all of the other guitar hero games and I didn’t think I would like this one as much but it suprised me with it’s catchy songs. My wife also plays the other guitar hero games with me but this one really appealed her. Great game, good music!
Xbox 360 Rock Band Wireless Fender Telecaster Player’s Edition Replica – Butterscotch
This guitar definitely looks better than the original Rock Band guitars, but there’s very little in the way of actual usability improvements that I could say for certain that it is really worth buying.
The one notable improvement over the Rock Band guitars is the touch-sensitive Back button. It makes it a lot easier to activate overdrive/star power while strumming away. But it’s also easy to hit accidentally so I question whether it was really needed.
Another strange design decision is that the fret buttons are only half-buttons. That is, they start in the middle of the fret and extend down. This makes for some error depending on how accurate your fingers are. Also, the whammy bar is awkward to use. It is either in the way or so far out of the way that it’s difficult to access. Then there’s the start button, which is actually a knob that you need to turn until it clicks. It’s weird and unnecessary.
The strum bar is nice. It’s quiet and responsive. And despite the half fret buttons, they actually feel nice. There is a velvety coating and the buttons push softly.
Other than that, it pretty much compares to the other Rock Band guitars. But it’s just a whole lot more money.
The good:
- Wireless
- Touch sensitive back button
- Good looks
- Quiet fret and buttons
The bad:
- Half fret buttons
- Awkward whammy
- Awkward start button
- Expensive
I actually would not recommend this guitar simply because you can get the regular rock band guitar for a lot less money with basically the same functionality. Unless you’re some kind of professional rock bander that performs in public, there’s really no need for this. Sorry Mad Catz.
The Rutles – All You Need Is Cash
Many great jokes and asides in this video, created by Eric Idle, and starring John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, etc. HILARIOUS!

Intec Wii-action Board
Some of the reviews say that the board doesn’t work because you cannot sync it. If you follow the direction it will inform you to go to the wii menu, when your game has loaded, which has the RELATED software, click on A to start the game. It will then check for the wii mote and/or wii chuck. While in this status mode hit the red sync button on your wii system, then on the bottom of the board use an object such as the end of a pen or something that will fit in a pin hole and press the sync button. Make sure the power button is on. This should clear the problem for syncing the board with the wii. If the power button keeps blinking, try putting the board on its side with the power button down on the floor and press the sync button at the same time.
The reason I gave it 4 stars was because it does go into standby mode when you are not using it and then you have to sync it again with your wii. During exercises when you have to place your hands on the blue squares it is uncomfortable, so you may still want to purchase a sleeve for it for better protection. I also have two dogs so it also collects dog fur. So if you have some dogs, careful with that too.
Overall I am pretty happy with it and plan on keeping it. You also can take it over to friends house who have the wii system and sync it with their system and play multi player games too.
Hope this helps others who are considering this product.
